Niantic has announced that the Pokemon Go Trainers will be selecting the next Pokemon featured for the Pokemon Go Community Days in September and October. Trainers have voted for Pokemon before in the past like for Weedle, Rhyhorn, and Ghastly. Niantic has not released any other detail talking about how Pokemon Go Trainers will vote, but some believe that it will be a poll on Twitter. Pokemon GO Trainers will only get to vote for one out of the 4 possible Pokemon. The Pokemon voted the most will be featured in September's Community Day and the runner-up in October's Community Day. The four Pokemon will be Caterpie, Charmander, Grimer, and Porygon. All four Pokemon are from the Kanto region.

Each of these Pokemon are unique in their own special way to have their own Community Day. Caterpie can evolve twice into Metapod and Butterfree, it also has a shiny version. Charmander can evolve twice into Charmeleon and then into Charizard. Charmander also has a shiny version as well. Charizard is the one of two Pokemon to have multiple Mega Evolutions: Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y. Mega Evolution is coming soon to Pokemon Go, if Charmander is voted in Trainers could see this new feature added into the game. Charmander is also a fan favorite and has already had it's own Community Day on May 19th 2018. Grimer can evolve into Muk and can only evolve once. Grimer has an Alolan form as well, which in my opinion when you evolve an Alolan Grimer into an Alolan Muk it looks really cool. Grimer also has a shiny version as well. Porygon is unquie in itself because it can evolve into Porygon2 then into Porygon-Z with using special items to evolve it. Porygon also has a special version as well as the other three Pokemon featured. 

I am personally going to vote for Porygon, because that Pokemon has been mysterious to me and I am very curious to disocver the evolution of it. I currently do not have Porygon2 or Porygon-Z. I caught a Porygon from defeating a Team Rocket grunt and purified it. I am also looking forward to its special research and what it could be from Professor Willow. My second choice would be Grimer, sole reason is because the Alolan Muk is so cool looking and I currently do not have a shiny Grimer in my collection just yet. I would say Charmander but I feel like I caught my share of many Charmanders from Pokemon GO Fest 2020 (July 25th-26th) and Charmander has gotten its own Community Day before. Also on August 16th from 11am-2pm (local time) is the Pokemon Go Fest 2020 Makeup Day and from 11am-12pm is fire habitat, and I am sure we will see more Charmanders during that hour as well too.
