Ultra Unlock Week 2: Enigma Week Guide

Enigma Week Guide

The second week of Ultra Unlock Enigma week is upon us. Trainers completed 16 global challenges during Pokemon Go Fest 2020 to unlock Enigma week. Enigma means mysterious or difficult to understand. So this week we will see this theme play out with the Pokemon that are featured during Enigma week.

Date + Time

Friday August 7th 1 p.m PDT to Friday August 14th 1 p.m PDT

Shiny Pokemon

  • Staryu
  • Starmie
  • Deoxys (normal)
  • Unown (U,T,L,R,A)
These Pokemon will be released in their shiny variant with the start of the event. The unown featured will be the letters spelling out Ultra
Shiny Unown letter "U"
Shiny Unown Letter "U

Raids

  • Claydol
  • Deoxys (normal) & Shiny Deoxys (normal)
  • Bronzong
  • Elgyem (new pokemon to Pokemon Go)
  • Unown (U, L,T, R, and A)
These Pokemon will be featured during Engima week in raids. Elgyem is a new Pokemon to Pokemon Go, so be sure to register that Pokemon to your Pokedex. Out of this lineup of raids for next week I am most excited for the Unown raids, because the letters are at random and they are never in raids to face against.

7km eggs

  • Cleffa & Shiny
  • Igglybuff & Shiny
  • Lunatone & Shiny
  • Solrock & Shiny
  • Elgyem

These Pokemon will be featured hatching from 7km event-themed eggs. As we saw this past week, the odds to hatch the featured shiny Deino from the first Ultra Unlock Dragon Week was 3,720 to 1. I would suggest to not pay to much attention to hatching your 7km eggs during this week. Out of this lineup Elgyem is going to be the rare one to hatch. If you are wanting one I would strongly suggest battling Elgyem in raids or finding it in the wild.

 Enigma themed Pokemon

  • Clefairy
  • Jigglypuff
  • Staryu
  • Lunatone
  • Solrock
  • Baltoy
  • Bronzor
  • Elgyem
Solrock and shiny (left) Lunetone and shiny (right)
These are the Enigma themed Pokemon that will be appearing more frequently in the wild. All Pokemon have chances of being shiny except for Elgyem. The new Pokemon Elgyem evolves into Beheeyem, so be sure to have your incense going in the wild and catch a few to evolve it. The rare one from this batch that will not be easy to find will be the shiny Staryu. Now I could be wrong, but the shiny Staryu will only be featured in the wild throughout this week. Meaning it will not hatch from a 7km egg nor be able to battle against and catch from raids.
