What you need to know about August Community Day

Featured Pokemon 

Magikarp will be the featured Pokemon for August's Community Day. Magikarp will be spawning more frequently in the wild, if you are lucky you can encounter a Shiny Magikarp.

Saturday August, 8th 2020 from 11am-5pm (your local time)

Features

  • Evolve Magikarp during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Gyarados that knows Aqua Tail.  
  • Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!  
  • For US$1 (or the equivalent pricing in your local currency), you will be able to access the Community Day–exclusive Special Research story "Making a Splash!" Follow Professor Willow as he learns about Magikarp and its epic Evolution journey
  • It takes 400 candies for Magikarp to evolve into Gyarados, so be sure to buy this ticket and complete event-excusive field research tasks to earn additional Magikarp candies. 
  • There will be a one-time purchase in the shop for an August Community Box that will consists of: 30 Ultra Balls, an Elite Charged TM, 6 Star Pieces, and an Incense!

Bonuses  

  • 3x Stardust when catching Pokemon 
  •  1 Incense with last 3 hours. (1 Incense will last half the event)
