You can choose between 4 Pokemon for Community Day


Trainers it is almost time to vote on who you want to be featured for September and October Community day in Pokemon Go. We learned earlier this month from the Pokemon Go official site and Niantic that trainers will be able to vote on the next two commnunity days between: Caterpie, Porygon, Grimer, and Charmander. Out of the four Charmander is the only one to have been featured in a Community Day event back in May of 2018. 

From August 22nd 6 p.m. PT - August 23rd 6 p.m. PT trainers will be able to vote for which of these Pokemon they would want to see featured in a Community Day event by responding to a poll on the Pokemon Go Official Twitter account.

The Pokemon that receives the most votes in the poll will be featured in Septemeber's Community Day event on September 20th. The Pokemon with the second highest votes in the poll will be featured in October's Community Day event on October 17th.

Niantic has revealed the special move that each Pokemon will be able to learn if they are selected for these Community Day events.

 

  • Caterpie - Butterfree will learn Hurricane 
  • Porygon - Porygon-Z will learn Tri Attack
  • Grimer - Muk and Alolan Muk will learn Fire Punch
  • Charmander - Charizard will learn Dragon Breath


Five days ago I conducted an unofficial poll on the @SimplePokemonGo Twitter account of which Pokemon you would choose between the four that could be featured. The poll currently has two days left to vote on it. 

 

 
Currently, the poll has 44 total votes. Charmander in the lead by 25 points at 56.8% to Porygon in 2nd place at 31.8%. Grimer in third at 6.8% and Caterpie last place at 4.5%. If this was the official poll we would see a Charmander Community Day event for September 20th and a Porygon Community Day event for October. 17th.
