Sustainability Week begins Tues. April 20th 10:00am and ends Sun. April 25th 8:00pm (local time).

In partnership with the Niantic Sustainability Campaign, you and your fellow Trainers can earn in-game bonuses by achieving various sustainability-related goals in the real world. Unlock Rewards 
 
You can work alongside players of other Niantic games to unlock special tiered in-gamerewards by participating in the Niantic Sustainability Campaign in the real world. The following rewards will be available April 25th from 10:00am - 8:00pm (local time) 
 
Tier 1 (2,500 activations) - Five-star raids will appear more often
Tier 2 (5,000 activations) - A free bundle containing 3 Remote Raid Passes will be available in the shop. (The rewards from Tier 1 will also still be activated)
Tier 3 (10,000 activations) - A 2x Catch XP bonus will be live. (The rewards from Tier 1 and 2 will also still be activated)
 
 So... you might be wondering to yourself what is an activation? I am like 98% sure that an activation is this, go out in the world and do something that helps the Earth. Whether it's a community project, cleaning up the river, choosing to ride your bike to work than your car, or even planting a tree. Then take a picture of yourself or the project and post it on Twitter using the hashtag #SustainableWithNiantic. Pretty sure for them to determine what tier rewards we get comes from the tally of how many hits that hashtag gets with actual projects and activities that help the Earth.
