Things to know about Genesect 

Unova Week is upon us, and with that brings a new Tier 5 Raid Boss: Genesect. Genesect is a Mythical, Bug-Steel type Pokemon. This Pokemon was originally released to Pokemon Go as part of a paid in-game special research event called "A Drive to Investigate." Trainers who are able to complete this special research would be given a Genesect encounter and receive it. Genesect is now available during this week to trainers who defeat this Mythical Pokemon in Tier 5 Raids. Doing this will require some help from other trainers; with assistance from remote raid passes, this can be completed easier.
